Nathan Guy is a native of Southern California and still occasionally cheers for the Dodgers (when they are winning). He is the new president of Mars Hill, a Christian academy in Florence, Alabama, with a legacy stretching back to 1871. For 13 years, he served as an associate professor of Bible at Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas. For two decades, Nathan has served churches in Florida, Mississippi, Tennessee, Arkansas, and in England as a preaching minister, interim minister, and Bible class teacher. Currently, he teaches the Sunday morning Home Builders class for the Cloverdale Church of Christ in Searcy, where he and Katie are active members.

Katie Guy was raised on a small farm in Central Indiana. Four 4 years, Katie worked as a middle school dyslexia interventionist for Southwest Middle School in Searcy, Arkansas. She holds a Masters degree in education and earned her bachelors degree in psychology from Western Kentucky University. Before moving to Florence, she served as Children's Education Facilitator for the Cloverdale Church of Christ in Searcy, Arkansas.

We were married in June of 2017, and led our first Teach It training workshop just five months later! We believe our unique individual gifts work together to provide a comprehensive approach to church education ministry.
